ABOUT ME
Explore the creative highlights of Lila who earned her B.F.A. in Fashion Design at Marist University. This portfolio explores both the Fashion Design and Merchandising aspects of her education and experience.

From a young age, I immersed myself in studio art, building a strong creative foundation that continues to shape my design perspective today. I stay attuned to both technological innovations and cultural shifts in the fashion industry, ensuring my work remains both relevant and impactful. My education at Marist University deepened this passion, giving me hands-on experience with the design process while strengthening my technical skills in patternmaking, textiles, and garment construction.
Working at Tyler Böe as an Assistant Designer brought all of my skills that I've learned to fruition. Day to day, I worked directly with the Head Designer and Head Technical Designer. I developed a proficiency for CADs, communicated directly with factories, started tech packs, and researched styles for upcoming seasons.
During my design internship with Maggy London, I collaborated cross-functionally with design and production teams to develop floral womenswear, translating conceptual ideas into marketable pieces. This experience reinforced my passion for creating garments that embody modern femininity and refined elegance.
My four-plus years of retail experience at Windswept Boutique and White House Bride helped me develop an intuitive eye for styling a broad range of individuals. I also furthered my interpersonal skills through working independently with an upscale consumer base.
I specialize in crafting designs that flatter the female form through thoughtful silhouettes, custom prints, and fabric choices that communicate both strength and softness. As I move forward in my career, I aim to bring my personal design identity—rooted in elegance, clarity, and confidence—into every project I take on, while continuing to learn from and contribute to the creative teams around me.
